The Soft Life I Built in Quiet Moments
Lately, I’ve been falling in love with the little things... the slow mornings, the quiet routines, the tiny rituals no one sees but me. It’s funny how the world tells you to chase big moments, but the things that save me are always small. Like my 5km walks where the sun feels gentle on my skin and the air smells like a fresh start. Or the way the ocean looks on beach days with my family soft waves, warm sand, kids laughing like it’s their job. I romanticise the simplest parts of my life now moisturiser melting into my skin, sunscreen every day like a love letter to my future self, a warm bath after a long day, rose tea with honey in a cute cup. I think beauty lives in the details. In a clean room. Fresh sheets. The smell of my favourite lotion. My little self-care shelf lined with perfumes and powders like they’re part of a museum. I keep quiet a lot not because I’m shy, but because silence is a luxury now. My peace... I protect it like it’s expensive. ...
